F.S. (Form Spammer) Base: A Public Spammer Repository

What is F.S. Base?

F.S. (Form Spammer) Base is a project put together by me, Adam Senour. It is an automated collection of spam messages that have been posted to various sites that I manage and that have been flagged for various reasons as spam.

How Is Spam Gathered?

Spam is constantly gathered at the present time the following sources that spammers like to target:

The process by which this spam is gathered is fully automated (as is the process by which most of this spam is generated); at the time a "comment" is posted on any of the sites listed above, it is evaluated and scored based on a very simple, but very effective algorithm coupled with a wide array of common spam words and patterns. I have experienced a 99.5% rate of reduction in spam on all of the forms that I have included my spam filter on, with no false positives to date.

How Is Spam Flagged?

Spam is flagged as spam when common spam words and patterns appear at least three times in form comments, form poster names, emails, and/or telephone numbers.

Why Are You Publishing This Information?

I'm publishing this spam information openly so that people can use it as they see fit to protect themselves from spammers who post via their forms.

Are RSS/XML Feeds Available?

In the future, RSS/XML Feeds will be available, but they aren't available at the present time.
